By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; on the seventh day he rested from all his work.  –Genesis 2:2

On the seventh day God rested. On the seventh day I do anything but rest.

Why are you up before the sun is up?
Are you getting up yet?
Did I hear Parker come out?
Keep your voice low.
What service are we going to?
The kids are hungry.
She wants yogurt.
He wants pancakes.
Are you going to pick up the wrapping paper sometime soon?
I don’t want to go to church.
You’re going to church.
She’s looking at me!!!
Ryen don’t look at your brother.
Are you taking a shower?
You’re wearing a dress.
You’re wearing jeans.
Ok, I give up. Wear whatever you want.
Eat your pancakes.
Why are you playing video games?
You’re mad at me.
I’m not mad at you.
We’re going to be late.
Why are you putting makeup on in the car?
You sign her in. I’ll sign him in.
Yes, if you go to Sunday school you can get a donut after church.
No, you can’t take your soccer ball inside.
Do my shoes match?
I knew my shoes didn’t match.
Bringing your iPad is not the same as bringing your bible.
I love you.
I love you too.
We made it church.
Thank God.

God is miraculous at creating the earth in all it’s glory in seven days. I find the miraculous in the smaller things in life… oh you know, like getting a family to church on time 😉
