The challenge is to take a quote from Ralphy and write a response to the prompt given from Self-Reliance. I’m more of the If-I-have-to-do-it-YOU-have-to-do-it type of girl, so I’m dragging you on this adventure with me because today’s writing exercise is a good one! Join the fun. 🙂
Your genuine action will explain itself, and will explain your other genuine actions. Your conformity explains nothing. The force of character is cumulative. – Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance
If ‘the voyage of the best ship is a zigzag line of a hundred tracks,’ then it is more genuine to be present today than to recount yesterdays. How would you describe today using only one sentence? Tell today’s sentence to one other person. Repeat each day.
Ready? Go!
Today is a new opportunity to find what is good, true, and beautiful in a world that is broken, lost, and hurting.
Your turn!
Here's mine:
Today is another moment in a life of my own making. Another stroke of paint on the canvass. I will get there. I am there already.
Today I will trust where there is doubt, love where there is fear, and rest where there is anxiety.
love this.

Today I will continue to press on even though tired and frustrated because life is meant to be lived and not survived.
Today is a fresh start, and I will choose to use it to grow and push forward rather than worry about everything I did wrong yesterday.
(I did a lot of things wrong yesterday lol)
Is it terrible that this made me think of Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer? He always tells the humans he's training "Dogs don't remember yesterday and don't know tomorrow. They can only live in the now."
Today is a gift.
Maintain a healthy heart and mind today and it will result in a better tomorrow.
I will live today to the fullest… tomorrow may never come and I will regret it…
Today is a whisper of purpose; a breath given from life, to give life.
typo in my original comment. Here it is:
Today is a whisper of purpose; a breath given from God, to give life.

Hey! Cool post! But this website has been loading incredibly slowly.
I’ve a fantastic idea for.
Great info!
Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

I’m impressed, I need to say. Actually rarely do I encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you will have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the problem is one thing that not enough persons are talking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for one thing relating to this.
