I had this notion that wedding planning was going to be blissful, easy, and without a price tag. Somebody slap me! Reality and I filed for divorce once I realized there’s a whole lot of work in putting together the party you’ve dreamed about since you were five years old.
But I’m here. And I’m happy. And I’m standing half dressed in my kitchen while posting this blog so I can keep an eye on my boiling eggs before the movers come.

Needless to say, I think next week will be difficult to blog while on my honeymoon, so I’ve asked a few really, really, really cool people to guest post for me. I’m so stoked they agreed 🙂 I’ll be posting some pictures on facebook and Twitter on Monday and Tuesday, but come Wednesday I’m checking out of the cyber world and enjoying a chilled beverage on a sandy beach with the man who simultaneously drives me crazy and makes me love him.
