This Christmas season, I’m asking God for joy. Not just happiness or holiday spirit, but deep, expansive joy. I’ve been praying for that type of joy to not only fill my life but the lives of those around me.
The joy I’m asking for is the joy that overwhelms every cavity of of the soul and every recess of the mind; the joy that fills empty voids with fullness of life; the joy that mends the broken pieces of disappointment, disillusionment, and despair. Yes, that joy.
Or if you’re a visual learner, THIS type of joy:
I hope you watched all the way to the end. THAT is the type of joy we need this season! π
What you YOU asking for this holiday season? Yes, you can even list gifts! π
for my dreams to come true! π
How is Santa going to give you that? Even HE needs some direction! π Just kidding.
I’m sorry, but somebody PLEASE go into Starbucks and have that EXACT reaction when they get your order right…..seriously – you can’t buy that kind of comedy!
I dare YOU to!
The video is hilarious.
Bought tears to my eyes. I am sure God is overjoyed when we react like that to the blessings, both little and big, that he blesses us with. I was laughing and crying at the same time. lol
That video is hilarious!! I want joy like that too!! Well without the throwing up part jaja
For Christmas this year I want health for my grandpa, even if that means a renewed body in heaven. Peace and comfort for my family and a free day to bake my dad’s favorite cookies π
I think my brother wants me to ask for a man for Christmas. He’s getting tired of cleaning out my gutters π
Hahahahahaha! I’ll ask Santa to add that to your list π
We’d both appreciate it π
I’m asking Santa for no more drama and for some cooking skillz cuz when I get married one day I think my Husband would like it if I could cook. π haha
Amen to that!
Great post Bianca. I love it!
I laughed when he laughed, I cried as he cried and by the time he went to the bathroom, my 2 preschoolers thought I had lost my mind. Oh for THAT joy from the cross of Christ every day. Seriously, thanks for sharing! Best video I’ve seen in awhile. Merry Christmas!
