Unfortunately I’m still waiting to find that rich Nairobi prince who emails me randomly telling me that he’ll give me one million dollars if I wire some money to him in a private off-shore account.
If I see him I’ll tell him that I visited displaced war victims today and will be creating a music video for the next generation of Kenyan youth.
But alas, he is no where to be found 😉

Just because I do not have doesn’t mean I am in poverty. Poverty is when you have everything in the world and yet you are still lonely, she said with wise eyes.
The trip into the Kibera slums was a tactical experience; an assault on all senses. Smells, sights, touch, sounds, even the taste of the air set my senses on fritz. Overwhelmed by what Americans would consider the worst living conditions imaginable, I couldn’t help but feel anesthetized by my surroundings.
