I would upgrade my friend's bathroom. They're moving into a new parsonage (and they have 3 babies under 3 and one on the way –aka not a whole lotta dough) and the bathroom is HIDEOUS.
It makes me seem shallow but I would want to do that for her.
Funny, I was challenged by this idea in my devotions last night. Yes, we can pray for things but we also need to put some actions behind our prayers.

Surprise my mom as other family is visiting there this weekend. (And help her out to because she soooooo has that 'martyr thing' down and she'll be going on and on about how she had to cook and change sheets and stuff. She secretly loves it but she also secretly loves to go on and on about it. It's cute. 😉 )

i would give my FULLEST attention and love to my son. often times i am distracted, busy or "life" (work, church, friends, the internet, myself) gets in the way…. especially coz i homeschool him… and i work full time… and as a single mom there are days when im stressed out or im too tired to even have a decent conversation with him. we have a lot of quantity time but it is not really quality.
last week God reminded me that children are a reward from Him… and i must learn treasure this reward diligently.
I would speak and write to wake up the American church help girls and women forced into sex trafficking in the USA.
The only thing stopping me is God not opening a door for me to do that yet.

Great question! I was thinking of this recently. So often we pray about a change we see that needs to happen, we pray for solutions in people's lives, we pray for a change in their circumstances, etc. I imagine God giggling, saying "oh, child….why are you praying about this when you can simply do it…YOU have the solution already…just DO something!" Sometimes I can be pretty dense though and it takes awhile for me to realize that God has put the solution of helping others in my hands. Now, I'm off for the day….and thanks to this post, in search for someone to help! Thanks Bianca!

So many times I've sat and thought of something or been challenged to actually do it, and I've thought "Well…God hasn't told me to do it."
But then…God hasn't told me not to either.
Obviously there are things that we shouldn't do, things that aren't pleasing to Him, but when there is something that could further God's kingdom, that could bring glory to His name, then shouldn't we just go until He says stop?
I don't know…maybe there's a lot more to it than that but…I can sadly say that I am guilty of using God as an excuse NOT to do something for Him, which is ridiculous.
So…I can't think of one thing in particular other than, whatever need comes into my view, just filling that need, with a joyful servant's heart.
Because that is something we can do every day wherever we are.
Make them feel like they matter (because they do!!!)
I'd make a way for a dear friend to get pregnant so She and Her Husband would not have to go through what they are going through. You know, like snap my fingers and bam…shes pregnant. Please keep "Her" in your prayers. People keep asking her..so are your pregnant yet?…

I would take over my moms debts. She recently lost her job and is the main bread winner in our family. She puts on a tough front but I know she's struggling more than she has in many many years.
I guess the main thing stopping me is that I am barely making 2 ends meet myself. I wish I had the capacity to lighten her financial burden by paying most if not all her bills myself.
