Black leather seat. Silver metal arm rests. Overhead announcements. Muted industrial carpet.

Most airports look the same and at this moment I could be in Botswana or New Zealand. But I’m not. I’m at Orange County airport for the third time in seven days. I’m becoming a local around these parts. Just asked Jim the TSA agent who always makes me use quart-size plastic bags instead of my clear view travel bag. We both are forming a love/hate relationship with each other 🙂

As much as the comforts of my bed and my shower and my Matt sound, I’m excited to fly to Atlanta for Catalyst, the nation’s leading conference for the next generation. There’s no other time I need to sit and hear from amazing thinkers. The past two months of travel and wedding planning have burned me out and I’m ready to be challenged, stretched, and filled. Lord knows I need it!

I’ll be doing some panel discussions on immigration and multiculturalism on Wednesday at the LABS. If you’re at the conference, I’d love to meet you! There’s a bloggers meetup Wednesday night and some of the most CrazyCool kids will be there. F’real. If not, hopefully I’ll get to meet new people on Thursday and Friday.

Keep me in prayer. Lord knows I need it!
