I’m looking for a six-month intern to work alongside me at The A21 Campaign who is proficient in writing, social media savvy, creative, and an independent self-starter. You would need to be available 2-3 days a week (15-17 hours per week) and live relatively close to our California office.
This is an unpaid internship but the experience and learning received in our fast-paced, ever-evolving organization is a wonderful opportunity.

I would so very much love to do your internship!! If I didn’t live in DC and have bills to pay I’d be there! I am currently working on earning my masters in counseling psychology so I can be more of a help for victims of human trafficking… I really want to be able to help somehow.
We have an overseas internship that is available for victim care and assistance in our Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Greece shelters 🙂

I was at Fusion/Orlando as a youth leader.. God has really laid A21 on my heart and truly showed me my calling at your altar call. So Blessed to know hes going to use me for broken woman across this broken world! I would love to come to CA however I am in the SW Florida by the beaches until God opens the next door 🙂

I spent three years of ministry school learning about the awful pandemic of Human Trafficking. It has truly broken my heart in ways that can never be fixed, nor do I want it to be fixed. This is something that I can’t pretend isn’t happening. My eyes have been opened. I had the amazing opportunity to take a trip to Greece in March of 2010 and spend some time with 11 girls from the A21 shelter in Thessaloniki. My heart was even more chipped away at and transformed that day. I’m carrying a burden for the millions of voiceless girls to tell my generation they exist. This internship would be my absolute dream job. I’m currently interning with a youth ministry. I work with the girls a lot doing mentoring and discipling. I love it.
I graduated from Masters Commission Ministry Training College last June and Prior to that I attended Miami University as an English Education Makor for two years. I didn’t receive my Eng. Ed. degree because I felt called into ministry so I changed schools
If this is something I would even be considered for, I do have some questions about housing. Is housing all separate? Are there any home openers or anything of that type
Hi Billie! You are more than qualified. We don’t have housing options, so that might be a challenge for you. But we have several suggestions for looking for housing. There are three colleges in close proximity, so housing is readily available 🙂

I am from Northern Ireland been working with Helen here with the A21 schools programme. For the Californian internship, do you still have to be a US citizen? It sure looks a lot warmer than Northern Ireland & I’ve family in San Diego!

Here are your answers: You don’t have to be a citizen, but you do have to apply for your visa. San Diego is about an hour to an hour and a half away so the drive might be a problem. But apply and lets see what happens 🙂
