What does it look like to be thankful and grateful? And no, friends— not just during the good times, but during the DIFFICULT seasons in your life?
This week’s devotional is straight from Ephesians 5:20 called Be Thankful, as Paul reminds the Ephesian church to ALWAYS give thanks to the Lord.
This week, can we take a moment and thank God for everything He’s given us? Even our troubles! God will use our troubles, trials, tribulations, and trauma to put a test in front of us so it can be used as part of our testimony.
Bianca, THANK YOU !! I’m with you in following the Apostle Paul in thankfulness ……..for everything
May god richly bless you.
Awesome word of encouragement!
Thank you for this teaching – I have a sign that I see in my bathroom first thing in the morning – Give Thanks for All things. And this is Thanksgiving in Canada – blessings to you for this great reminder. To be thankful for all things.
THIS [as with everything that is God], is right ON TIME. I’ve recently returned to writing in a gratitude journal after many, many years of not doing so. It has reminded me to be be THANKFUL in and about everything happening in my life. It has begun to “soften” me in a way only God can. I’ve softened to people (within my department) who have “ticked me off” to the point of ignoring them as I thought them “stupid”. I’m more ‘civil’ towards them now. I am more appreciative of just being a better person, overall. I have to remember that, always.
SO great, Denise! xoxo
I like the comment you made Bianca about a bad attitude. I feel I’ve gotten in a really bad rut where I’m angry about a lot of things. I put on a good front at work, church, etc. but I know I’m angry.
Thank you Bianca, I was recently demoted after 20 years in a management position to what we call an individual contributor. I am struggling with what happened and while I get and understand I should be grateful, this has been difficult. It feels like God is speaking to me through your devotional and the many other postings I’ve read this morning. This trial is nothing compared to what Paul went through and I feel guilty now feeling as bad as I do, but the demoralization and feelings I have just feel so real and overpowering at times. I love your devotionals I am blessed that God chose you to speak to me. Have a sunny day!
I’m glad it spoke to you, Anna! Keep believing, even in the most difficult times! xoxo
Just this morning I prayed and asked God for rest or encouragement to get me threw the day. Between my spiritual battles, kids and keeping up with things around the house I felt I needed rest! Now I can look at it in a different light!! I will give Thanks to God for all the work he allows me to do.;) I saw you speak at DFL this past week and you lifted me up! God Bless!
Hey Steph, DFL was SO fun! Glad you made it 🙂
Merci beaucoup for this Bianca!! Please don’t stop sharing your heart for God and the passion he stirs in you!! 🙂
Love it! Thanks doll.
I attended DFL with about 40 other ladies from our church. Bianca, I was so blessed by the experience. I am 21 years into my walk with Jesus I now realize how complacent I had become with my relationship with Jesus. At last weekends DFL my “first love for Jesus” was restored. I am on a “Jesus high” and I don’t want to lose it. I am pouring myself into His Word and your videos and those of Sheila Walsh too! I want to keep the “fire burning”. I am daily asking the Holy Spirit to search me and bring any hindrance to light that I can confess it and ask forgiveness! I do not want anything to hinder my relationship with Jesus and His will for my life! Bianca, thank you so much for being a part of my spiritual awakening. God’s blessing upon you and your loved ones! To God be the glory for the giftings He has given you and your obedience to serve Almighty God! Love you girl!
Keep that fire burning, girl! I love hearing that! Thank you! xoxo
