It’s been said that I’m slightly highly opinionated. If you ask me my opinion on something, I won’t give you a stock answer that is politically correct and polished. I will give you the truth. [Life is too short to not keep it real!]
Lately there have been more and more conversations about women in ministry and what their roles in church should look like. Honestly, I’m not sure we will have one answer that will suffice everyone who wants to sit around the campfire and sing cumbayá. But I think we can meet towards the center by opening up the conversation and having a healthy dialogue not only about what women can and can’t do church, but also what women should and could be doing in church.
This week Catalyst Conference released a podcast I recorded last year addressing the issue of women in ministry. This coincides with a series I’m managing on Christine Caine’s podcast entitled Young Women in Leadership. Both conversations open the doors for healthy dialogue from the Left, Right, and Center in hopes to come to a place where I can moderate a conversation and be politically correct and polished. 😉 [Bless my heart.]

I’m a truth talker and I like that you’re a truth talker, too. Never hold back, mah sister!
I feel like God gives some women a big mouth in order to use it. I know that’s the case with me. Lol. My parents always referred to me as a rebel because I simply spoke the truth. I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with women in ministry until we let our competitive spirits take over.
When we take our focus of the calling and put it on ourselves, issues can’t help but erupt.
