You only have one life and soon it shall be passed. Only what you do for Christ Jesus will last.
There are 24 hours, 1,440 minutes, 86,400 seconds in a day. Each day is full with potential to do things with eternal significance and meaning. Whether you’re a corporate professional, stay-at-home parent, or full-time student, each of us has the ability to do only what we can on earth to fulfill a destiny for Kingdom growth.
It has less to do with doing more and everything to do with doing what matters. You only have one life to life. Live it with meaning.
Thanks for the reminder, Bianca!
You and the person who originated that quote are so right…it’s easy to pursue what the world says you should have in this life instead of focusing on what Christ wants you to do with your life. God gave us dreams for a reason but we need to be careful with the popular saying “follow your heart” because the Bible says “The heart is deceitful above all things” (Jeremiah 17:9). Who can know the heart? Only the One who created it, God. So yeah maybe you can do a post on that eh? Because the Bible also says, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your HEART” (Psalm 37:4).
Just throwing it out there. Would love to see a blog or vlog by you on this topic! 🙂
