Joshua 14 accounts Caleb’s William Wallace-esque speech as the children of Israel take their Promise Land. It’s one of my favorite battle speeches and after reading it I want to bang my fist on my chest like an angry Irish warrior with blue face paint and yell, Freedom!!!

As Wallace encouraged his soldiers to be strong and courageous, I had the opportunity to bless and send off a couple hundred women on Saturday to life lives in pursuit of their Promise Land.

I thought living by faith meant ensuring it turned out the way we wanted. As it turned out, living by faith might mean your greatest fear is now your current reality. But in those moments I hope we remember that his grace is sufficient for us.

One final reminder to my online and offline friends who are living out audacious dreams of extraordinary lives…

Living by faith doesn’t guarantees that everything ends with a red bow, it just guarantees He’s with us. And that’s enough. Because courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s living for something bigger than our own preservation.

Here are a few pictures from Desertology! I hope to continue to urge and stir up passionate followers of Christ to live extraordinary lives in pursuit of God. Be strong. Be courageous. Be you.

Bryan and Katie Torwalt (and their amazing band) led us into a great time of worship.

It wouldn't be a women's ministry event without sugar, right? 😉 Fortunately I didn't see the dessert tables until the goodies were gone. I would've devoured them.

My favorite part of the event was processing out loud what our personal call-to-action was. Keep it real!

Gettin' our praise on!

This is my William Wallace speech. But obviously, I'm giving you Puerto Rican attitude.

Special shout-outs go to those watching in Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Washington DC, Antioch [Yasmeen and Dianna], Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and wait for it… wait for it… PUERTO RICO!!! [Gotta represent my island peeps. 😉 Boricuas in the house!] Much love, cyber family.
