In times of crises, it’s easy to feel like God can’t deliver. To bolster our faith, consider these biblical accounts of when God delivered His children from their drama:
- David from a giant
- Daniel from lions
- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from fire
- Noah from a flood
- Rahab from siege
- Peter from a storm
- Moses from an army
Do you notice a trend here? God can deliver His children out of any circumstance. Know today that His power to deliver is bigger than your problem.
Psalm 50:15 “…call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
Great words for our family! We are truly praying for deliverance from relationship chaos that the enemy has worked very hard to bring to our family. Praying for God’s restoration for relationships.
Hugs!
Mama D. 🙂
Good to remember 🙂
Thanks Bianca! 🙂
As I read this I kept thinking: “But, Bianca, they were all special, extraordinary people, used and approved by God. And I’m just me, the one who likes to hide…..”
Stepping out and believing that He can deliver me has been very scary, daunting, exhausting….
Just wanted to share….
Carol, I started thinking that too, but then I remembered:
David was a shepherd boy (he’d just come from the fields)
Rahab was a prostitute (not yet grafted in to the Israelites)
Peter was a doubter sometimes (he stepped out of the boat, stood a moment on the sea, then started sinking…Jesus said “Oh you of little faith!” but “He is faithful, even when we are faithless.”)
Love, M
What a wonderful encouragement Bianca. Especially for those who are suffering back East from the hurricane. Deliver them Lord!!
