Speak the truth in love. This is easier said than done. Speaking the truth is hard and will inevitably cost you something. Friendships, opinions, sometimes even money. But in order for us to have what God wants us to have and be the people God has called us to be, we must do what He’s called us to do.

As Christ followers desiring to change the our world, we should be equally concerned with what we say, rather than enforcing all the rules of what we shouldn’t be saying. It’s not only what we don’t say that is right—it’s also what we do say. Speak the truth. Always.
