The plight of man is the longing to be so much more than we are. Malcontent and disillusioned looking at the lives of others, we are left aching for more and grasping for mirages of a life which might have been.

But we are more than the expectation of others, the failures of our past, and the dreams of our future. The people we are today are mere shells of the people we are to tomorrow if guided by the loving hand of God. Do not strive for a dream that isn’t yours or a life you could’ve lived. We are made for so much more.
